Chess Match at Chess Club
What a great round of matches! Our first Chess Club gathering on Saturday, April 15, 2023 was a grand success with a chess match for all who attended!
Ten players ages 9 to 81 – and everywhere in between – matched wits and skills on the 5 chess sets available, with some whizzes going 6-0 on the day! Thank you to the additional observers and supporters cheering everyone on.
Skills ranged from grandmasters-in-training to folks brushing up on their openings. We all learned from each other, and improved our games with a variety of partners with different approaches and techniques.
Please join us in our upcoming gatherings! All ages and abilities welcome. There’s something for everyone!
