Madison Recreation hosted our 3rd Annual Festival of Lights and Scavenger Hunt!

We invited the Madison community to decorate their homes and businesses with light displays.

And, WOW!  Did we have some LIGHTS!

Folks were invited to follow the maps, look for fun “scavenger hunt” elements in the displays, and vote in various categories for their favorite displays.

And the winners are….

Most FESTIVE Display

How the Grinch Stole Boulder Road

Whoville ain’t got nothin’ on our Most Festive Display!

The Grinch may have stolen Boulder Road, but then threw a holiday bash at this display.

Lights everywhere!  Inflatables on the roof!  Familiar holiday faces from Snoopy to the Abominable Snowman.

What a show!

Classic and Classy

Peace and Joy

Peace and Joy gave us a beautiful display of warm yellow lights and reindeer grazing in the snow.

Did you count how many in their scavenger hunt item?  We counted 5!

Best Scavenger Hunt Item

Festive Chickens!!

The Festive Chickens of the Merry Chickmas display won our hearts and first place for Best Scavenger Hunt Item.

Did you see them, in front of the reindeer?

Below are the rest of our Scavenger Hunt items!

Overall Favorite Display

We enjoyed all the light displays, but one outshone them all –

How the Grinch Stole Boulder Road!

Apparently, he also stole our hearts.
